SPRING NEWSLETTER 2020

Hello Fellow CDM Homeowners,

I planned on a very happy positive newsletter from your Volunteer Board, welcoming in Spring to our beautiful community.

Things have evolved very quickly with the coronavirus situation.

In both Mexico and the USA, movement is restricted. Please follow your community guidelines and stay safe.

If you have not  paid your dues in full, please continue to make payments if possible. We must continue to pay for our guards, garbage, and other workers.

We are committed to ensuring CDM stays clean and safe for those who live there and that it stays in good shape when the rest of you are able to return.

Here is a brief report about what your volunteer officers are working on.

Hector Martinez – President

Hector is researching to hire a professional who can  mange the renters to make sure the process runs smoothly for everyone.

He is looking at a few repairs that can be done within our budget.

Last year Leticia looked into adding playground equipment. Would anyone like to volunteer to continue to work on the project?

Please tell us if there is a repair to the common areas that you think is needed.

Because of movement restrictions,  there is no May meeting planned. If an emergency arrives, we will figure out how to inform you.

Pam Grissom – Treasurer

As your Treasurer here is what I am doing:

I review income and expenses every month.  The good news is we have enough money to pay our bills.  I have asked our bookkeeper to send everyone a factura so you have proof of the dues you have paid in  2020.  I have reviewed the budget that was voted on in 2019.  There should be plenty of money to pay our bills. I believe our bookkeeper is very professional and records the money properly.

Ken Unrein – Official Administrator

Ken and I are working together to encourage homeowners to pay their past dues without any legal action.  Ken is legally allowed to pursue legal means to collect past due accounts.

Let me be clear,  we collect just enough dues to pay our bills for the guards, garbage, water, and maintenance.  No one at the Association  benefits financially.  Hector, Ken and I volunteer for free. All of you have to pay extra pay  for those who do not pay because we have to keep CDM clean and safe for everyone to enjoy.

If more pay people pay their past dues we will have more money for repairs.

If you have any issues about Costa Del Mar please contact Hector Martinez at: ingenuitybuilders@hotmail.com
